Lewis & Clark and the Oregon Trail Student Tour
Day 1 - Fly in, transfer to your hotel, followed by dinner and a presenter from Cascade Geographic Society that will make the history come alive.

Day 2 - Depart this morning for Astoria, Oregon. Visit the Astor Column, Chief Concomly’s canoe (Lewis & Clark), Fort Clatsop (1805 site of Lewis/Clark encampment), Seaside Promenade and the Lewis/Clark salt cairn, Fort Stevens (site of the only attack on the US during WWII) and Camp 18 logging museum/restaurant for dinner. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3 - Begin with a city tour to include downtown, Old Town and Chinatown, then visit the Museum of Science and Industry (including lunch), with an afternoon at the End of the Oregon Trail Center and authentic wagon ride. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4 - Chief Lelooska Foundation (Indian potlatch and ceremonial mask presentation), visit to Fort Vancouver, headquarters for the Oregon Territory. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5 - Follow the Barlow Trail (Oregon Trail pioneers), trip to Phillip Foster Farm pioneer living history village, and overnight at Mount Hood Inn on Mount Hood. Dinner at the historic Timberline Lodge on Mount Hood. Breakfast, Box Lunch, Dinner
Day 6 - Drive to The Dalles site and one of the Lewis and Clark encampments, visit the Interpretive Center and Fort Rock, Maryhill Museum (known for its Indian basketry and site of (Lewis and Clark encampment). Return to Mount Hood. There is also an ethno-botanist that is to speak here and demonstrate herbs that were planted by the Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery. (Optional) Breakfast & Lunch
Day 7 - Return this morning to Portland International Airport for flight home. Breakfast
